Lica Ishida, Practice Assistant
Biography
Lica Ishida was born and raised on Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, USA. From a young age, she was interested in tutoring students and helping others. Throughout her high school years, Ms. Ishida tutored primary, middle, and high school students, which sparked her interest in education and psychology. She later completed her BA in Psychology at Grinnell College.
During her Bachelor’s program, she became interested in mental health and counseling. After completing a semester abroad in Vienna and discovering a Master’s program in the same city, Ms. Ishida decided to return to further her education.
Ms. Ishida moved to Vienna in 2018 for her MA degree at Webster Vienna Private University. During the Master’s program, she attended Mag. Krista Rothschild’s Psychological Assessment course and was offered an internship atPsychAccess®. As a result of her time at PsychAccess®, Ms. Ishida’s interest in psychological assessment and academic coaching had grown. A few years after she had completed her Master’s degree, she was offered a position as a Practice Assistant. She also works part-time as a learning support assistant at Amadeus International School Vienna.
